- When did you start at The HOPE Center? I started with the HC in March 2021 and came on staff in January 2022.
- How did you get connected to The HOPE Center? I was connected by my church.
- How have you seen God work through this ministry? God has worked in miraculous ways through this ministry. First, being able to support human life. Nothing is more precious! Second, seeing lives transformed as women and families encounter Jesus and choose life. Third, being part of a loving staff and volunteer community that supports each other. Finally, seeing God use my gifts in ways I never dreamed or imagined.
- Favorite memory with The HOPE Center? In a meeting with fellow believers at the back door of Seeds as I take donations daily. The stories, testimonies, trials, and triumphs. Amid a broken world there are incredible believers who love Jesus, stand their ground, and embrace this ministry passionately.
- Favorite bible verse? Philippian’s 1:6- “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
- Fun fact about you? I have traveled to all 50 states over the course of my lifetime and visited most national parks and historical sites in the United States.
- Favorite color? My favorite color is orange.
- Favorite food? My favorite food is pizza loaded with numerous meats and veggies.
- You have your own late-night talk show, who do you invite as your first guest? My first guest on a late-night talk show would be former President Dwight David Eisenhower. He is someone I deeply admire who carried this country through good and bad times with a deep religious faith. I belonged to a church in California where he and his wife Mamie had attended more than once.
- You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick? Without hesitation it would be Amazing Grace. It is only by His grace I belong to the family of God.
- If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? My meal would contain the following: freshly baked bread, a fresh block of cheese, and milk chocolate.
- As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? My life dream was to be United States National Park Ranger. When the rubber met the road in college, I learned how poorly this career paid. I carried on my love of the outdoors through travel, hiking, river rafting, and teaching.
